Currently we are recruiting for an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Coordinator for one of our clients in Colonie, NY. This is a great position for an experienced A/R person looking to change industries. Will be in contact with primarily retail stores.

Overall Objective Purpose:

Using telephone and interpersonal skills, to create positive relations and promote customer service to our retailer base for accounts receivables needs. Must be able to provide the following accounting duties:
- Basic accounts receivables functions
- Data entry of accounting transactions
- Spreadsheet preparation
- Assist with ad hoc reports and requests as required
- Maintain department files
- Assist in daily cash management and prepare entries to record activities
- Prepare customer invoices
- Special projects and other duties as assigned

Working hours: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Qualifications:
- Two years of related accounts receivables experience
- analytical skills
- Telephone customer service skills
- Understanding function of how ACH system performs
- Some banking knowledge
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Access
- The ability to work well in a team environment
- Detail oriented
- Possess superior organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of accounting principals
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- oral and written communication skills
